Our Bar Graphs
The students in my math class created their own frequency tables based on a topic they constructed. They surveyed the class to collect data and created a bar graph on chart paper. Then, we went to http://nces.ed.gov/nceskids/createagraph/ to construct our digital bar graphs. Please take a look at a few examples of the students' work. They developed a few questions they would like you to solve by reading their bar graphs!

Moving Right Along.
The school year has almost reached December. The weather is cooling of dramatically and we're starting to transfer from shorts and t-shirts to jeans and jackets. As the year has progressed we have increasingly used technology in our classroom. From the Smart Board to the "Clickers," we are becoming more familiar with how we use technology in the classroom. So, it's time to discover the internet. Soon, we will begin blogging as a class and developing our internet presence. Let's buckle up and get ready for a new phases of learning!
